ReShea J. Balams
Founder & Attorney at The Balams Firm
ReShea Balams is a successful entrepreneur, attorney and founder of The Balams Firm, an elite boutique personal injury firm serving clients across the state of Georgia. She’s a leader characterized by perseverance, strength, and a commitment to being the best role model possible for young women and other female business leaders and an attorney committed to providing clients the gold standard in customer service and exceptional results.
As an academically gifted youth who loved the thrill of a great debate, Balams always aspired to be an attorney. Being a head strong perfectionist and someone with the grit to get things done no doubt cemented the path to her dream profession.
Balams spent her early law career working for a large law firm where she represented insurance companies, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators. After several years as an associate, she credits fate for leading her to accept a position working on the other side of the table. That’s when she discovered her real passion for law and her experience in insurance company litigation to be invaluable – as an advocate for clients injured and financially and physically disadvantaged through no fault of their own.
In 2018 Balams founded The Balams Firm, an elite boutique personal injury law firm with an unwavering customer service mindset that is strikingly unique and different than the stereotypical personal injury firm. The firm’s specialties include personal Injury, car accidents, truck accidents, slips and falls and premises liability.
Balams was named as one of the Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine in 2018 and has been listed on the Super Lawyers Rising Star List consistently since 2018 . She also earned recognition as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers.
With exceptional customer service as their mantra, The Balams Firm has earned a reputation as a law firm that clients enjoy working with and trust. A hands-on client advocate, Balams manages all cases personally to educate clients on their rights and fight for maximum compensation. The excellent results they consistently obtain for their clients is the key indicator of The Balams Firm’s success.
Balams attended The University of Alabama School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate and was a member of the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society and the Black Law Students Association. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics and graduated summa cum laude from Spelman College.
